Annie Oakley

Throughout her career, it is believed that Phoebe Ann Moses ("Annie Oakley") taught upwards of 15,000 women how to use a gun. Oakley believed strongly that it was crucial for women to learn how to use a gun, as not only a form of physical and mental exercise, but also to defend themselves. She said: "I would like to see every woman know how to handle [firearms] as naturally as they know how to handle babies."

In keeping with ranching tradition, new fangled contraptions such as telephones and televisions are not provided in the cabins. Each cabin is tastefully decorated and has its own private bath, small refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave. Sleeps up to 4. Queen bed withtwo single beds in loft. Cots are available for more.
